This quick and easy family recipe for Baked Farmhouse Chicken in Garlic Butter Sauce transforms a simple chicken breast into a lick-the-plate masterpiece. Using just a few ingredients combined with Wow! Farmhouse Chicken and Veggie Seasoning this rich, flavorful dish makes for a flavor forward family dinner recipe!

Ingredients

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

Pinch Dash of Desperation Seasoning

4 Tablespoons butter
-
½ Tablespoon Farmhouse Chicken and Veggie Seasoning

1 teaspoon lemon juice
-
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley, basil or other greens finely chopped for garnish (optional)

Nonstick cooking spray or olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Using a meat mallet (or the back of a small frying pan) pound the chicken breasts into ½” thick pieces. Season with Dash of Desperation seasoning on both sides.
Spray an oven safe skillet with nonstick cooking spray or lightly coat with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Heat over medium high heat.
Sear chicken breasts on both sides. While the chicken is cooking, combine butter, Farmhouse Chicken Seasoning and lemon juice in a small microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds at a time until butter is melted. Set aside.
Remove the chicken from the heat and pour the seasoned melted butter over the chicken. Place in the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160° F.
Remove from the oven and tent with foil to keep warm. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165° F. THIS is a crucial step in keeping the chicken moist, juicy and not overcooked. Sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs, serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
