Spinning in Circles? Here's how to STOP.

Hello my friend!
After a much-needed Thanksgiving break, I came back full of gratitude and happiness, yet somehow, through no fault of my own landed smack-dab in an end-of-year whirlwind.

You know the feeling?

Between work, home, holiday prep, and trying to keep up with all the things, I found myself spinning like a dreidel on double espresso shots.

Unsettled. Unfocused. Overwhelmed. And definitely not productive—which, let’s face it, is not a vibe I (or any of us!) thrive in.

Somewhere in the chaos on Saturday, I realized—
I needed to breathe.
I needed to pause.
I needed to ground myself.

For me, that means stepping outside. A few minutes in the sunshine.
Feeling the air, the Earth andreconnecting with Mother Nature, who always seems to whisper, “You’ve got this, babe.”

I knew I needed a few hours of ME time or I wouldn't make it to January 1st with any ounce of sanity.

So yesterday morning, I got up early.
I even went to church (don’t worry, the walls didn’t collapse (I was worried...!!!) 😂).
Then I took a long, cold, peaceful walk along the river.
And I had one of those Universe-y signs that made me stop, smile, and say: “Okay. Everything really is going to be alright.”

I came home.
Made my lists. Got organized. Had a hot cup of tea.
And I’m telling you—I feel like myself again... clear headed, focused and ready.

So this week, I am really encouraging you to find your own way to feel grounded.
☀️ Maybe it’s getting outside.
🕯️ Maybe it’s spiritual.
🧁 Maybe it’s baking, or organizing, or doing something that makes your soul feel full and your mind feel clear.

Whatever it is—do it.

Take the five minutes. Take the walk. Light the candle. Say the prayer because

Getting grounded is the answer to being able to show up as your best self and actually enjoying the holidays.

So let’s not just survive it—let’s actually feel good doing it! And we can.

✨ Stay grounded, stay gorgeous, and go get it.

I’ll be right here, doing the same. Cheering you on. Rooting for your calm and wishing you joy.

And reminding you that you don’t have to do it all—just start with what you need.

With love,
