How to Create a Compound Butter (and Why You Should!)

Looking for a quick and easy way to add an INCREDIBLE amount of flavor to your cooked veggies, meats and more?

Look no further than Compound Butter!

Compound butter is simply butter and other ingredients combined together which can be used as a kind of insta-sauce on top of cooked meat, vegetables or fish.

It's SUPER simple to make, keep and serve.  Whenever you need instant flavor in a pinch- this will be your go to!

The EASIEST way to make compound butter:

Take one stick of softened, room temperature butter and mix any 2 Tablespoons of:

Stacey Hawkins Garlic & Spring Onion Seasoning

Stacey Hawkins Garlic Gusto Seasoning (salt-free)

Stacey Hawkins Tuscan Fantasy Seasoning

Stacey Hawkins Cinnamon Chipotle Seasoning

Stacey Hawkins Phoenix Sunrise Seasoning

Stacey Hawkins Rosemary Versatility Seasoning

Stacey Hawkins Rockin Ranch Seasoning

Stacey Hawkins Kickin' Cajun Seasoning

Ok, do you see where I'm going with this? You can pretty much use ANY of our seasonings in a compound butter- even the Sinful Cinnamon and Awesome Autumn! (Think on top of oatmeal, toast, scones, pancakes, sweet potatoes, acorn or butternut (or other!) savory squashes...)

Mix to combine and then put in an airtight container, or wrap in wax paper and roll up to make a stick or log. Refrigerate, slice and plop on whatever you need.

Add to the skillet for a quick sauce. Put a pat on steamed or roasted veggies. Plop on roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, meats, fish, chicken and more! Especially delicious on steamed or grilled corn on the cob.
