This easy to make, classic sauce is one to have in your fridge at all times! Having simple yet robust sauces like this on hand can transform everyday proteins like chicken, fish and beef into masterpieces with just a dollop. This sauce isn't just for proteins however, it's great on veggies and starches too!
Classic Red Roasted Pepper Sauce can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to one week. Alternately, you can pour it into an ice-cube tray, freeze and keep individual portions in a zipper bag in the freezer for whenever!
Low in calories, high in flavor, this is one you'll come back to again and again.
Ingredients
Directions
Pour the peppers into a colander and shake vigorously to drain off all the excess liquid.
Add the peppers, Tuscan Fantasy and Balsamic to a food processor.
Pulse on high until you get a thick puree consistency. Be careful not to over-do it as some thickness and texture make for a better sauce.
Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate.
Serve over grilled fish, pan seared steaks or chops, chicken and more! Fabulous as a sauce for veggies too.
