Honey Lime BBQ Glazed Pork Chops
"Quite simply my favorite new recipe!" We couldn't agree more! The tang of the lime, the sweet caramelized Honey BBQ seasoning with a pinch of salt and heat makes for a dinner made deliciously easy!
The key to making this low carb recipe for BBQ pork so perfect is to NOT overcook the pork. Remove it from the heat before it's done and let the carryover heat bring it to 150 before slicing and serving. Thick, juicy and of course BURSTING with FLAVOR this will become one of your favorites too!
I love this paired with cilantro cauliflower rice and a sliced tomato salad with balsamic to round it out!
24 ounces boneless pork loin or chops
1 tsp Stacey Hawkins Garlic & Spring Onion Seasoning
1 T Stacey Hawkins Honey BBQ Seasoning
juice of 1 lime (about 2 T freshly squeezed)
1 tsp freshly grated lime zest
lime wedges for garnish if desired
Zest the lime and set in a bowl large enough to hold the pork chops.
Whisk together zest, seasonings and lime juice. Coat the chops in the mixture, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour up to overnight.
When ready to cook preheat broiler or outdoor grill to 350° F.
Grill or broil the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side, until temperature reaches 145° F. Place on a plate, cover with a loose fitting tinfoil tent and let rest until temp reaches 150° F. Slice and serve.
