Ingredients
-
1 tsp olive oil
-
1 ¾ pounds boneless chicken thighs*
-
2 tsp Stacey Hawkins Dash of Desperation Seasoning
-
¾ C chicken broth
-
1 T Stacey Hawkins Rockin Ranch
-
2T butter
Directions
Season chicken thighs with Dash of Desperation Seasoning
Add olive oil to a 8-10 inch cast iron skillet and heat over medium heat.
Place chicken thighs in the skillet, skin side down. Cook undisturbed for 8 minutes, until skin is blackened. Turn the chicken over and cook for 6-8 minutes more, until an instant read thermometer reads 165 degrees. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
Place the skillet back over the heat. Add the butter, let it melt, and then stir in the Ranch Seasoning. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let the liquid simmer, reducing by half. Pour over chicken and enjoy!
Chef's Notes & More
For a complete meal, serve this with mashed potatoes and a side of steamed green beans. It's a classic you'll be begged to make again and again!

*You can use bone-in thighs as well, simply increase cooking time to 12 minutes on each side.
