Grilled Shrimp Scampi

Combining the rich flavors of Garlic, Onion and Lemon Zest with Juicy Lemon Oil, Sea Salt and Black Pepper with sweet, wild caught jumbo shrimp and then tenderly cooking them over an open flame creates a meal that is as beautiful and elegant as it is delicious!

Definitely use wild caught shrimp- I beg you not to buy the ones from Vietnam or Thailand (you can Google why... and I saw the farming 1st hand in Thailand !!) The flavor and texture, not to mention health benefits far outweigh the little extra cost.  Happy Cooking!

 

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

  1. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and toss to coat. Let sit while grill heats up.

  2. Preheat grill to medium high (about 350 degrees).

  3. Add the shrimp to a grill basket and place on the grill.

  4. Cook for 15-20 minutes, tossing occasionally with tongs. You'll know they're thoroughly cooked when they are dark pink and opaque.

  5. Serve warm or chilled.
