Ready to try something totally traditional but COMPLETELY different? Look no further than this week's recipe for Grilled Shrimp Scampi- a Lean and Green meal that is SO easy, SO delicious and SO versatile you'll want to make a few pounds to have in the fridge for leftovers! With only 3 little ingredients, this is one that will become a staple in your house, guaranteed.
Combining the rich flavors of Garlic, Onion and Lemon Zest with Juicy Lemon Oil, Sea Salt and Black Pepper with sweet, wild caught jumbo shrimp and then tenderly cooking them over an open flame creates a meal that is as beautiful and elegant as it is delicious!
With all the flavor (ok, actually MORE!) and barely any of the fat, you won't believe how easy and delicious this turns out on the grill- amazing Indeed! Super easy, quick and delicious this low carb meal is great as a Lean and Green Recipe, an HCG recipe, Weight Watchers or keto recipe.
Definitely use wild caught shrimp- I beg you not to buy the ones from Vietnam or Thailand (you can Google why... and I saw the farming 1st hand in Thailand!!) The flavor and texture, not to mention health benefits far outweigh the little extra cost.
Happy Cooking!
