Stacey's Chef Notes:
*Technically, brussels sprouts are NOT an "approved" Lean and Green vegetable as recognized by nutrition support. Why, we're not sure. However, when you look at the numbers, they are pretty much nutritionally equivalent to cabbage, which is approved:
1C Brussels (88g) has 38 calories, 4.7 grams of carbs and 3 grams of protein
1 C Cabbage (88g) has 22 calories, 3.8 grams of carbs and 1 gram of protein
As there are slightly higher carbs (1g) and slightly higher calories (16) we suggest if you are going to enjoy this dish, simply include an additional condiment in your count as we have listed here. (This recipe "should" be 2 condiments, but we are counting it as 3 to include the above).
If you find this questionable, simply omit this recipe from your list :)
