Crispy Parmesan Panko Asparagus Fries

These fries are not only low carb, on the Optavia program and incredibly tasty but also a healthier alternative to traditional fried snacks. 1 ½ pounds trimmed asparagus spears
1 egg whisked with 1 T water
1 tsp Stacey Hawkins Dash of Desperation Seasoning
4 T Stacey Hawkins Parmesan Panko
4 T Stacey Hawkins Herbed Butter Cracker Panko
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Trim asparagus, rinse well and shake dry. Place on a baking sheet in a single layer and gently brush the fronts with the egg wash.
Sprinkle asparagus with Dash of Desperation Seasoning and then with Stacey Hawkins Panko flavor of your choice.
Bake 10-12 minutes until desired texture is reached. Longer for more crisp like a fry, a little less for a more tender asparagus.
Divide into 4 equal servings and serve warm.
May also be made in batches in the air fryer. Cook for 7-9 minutes per batch at 390-400° F and keep warm in a warm oven until ready to serve. Do not cover or they will get soggy.
