Ingredients

  • 2 large stalks of kale to yield 4 C of leaves (9.5 ounces)

  • 2 T Stacey Hawkins Roasted Garlic Oil*

  • nonstick cooking spray

  • 1 tsp Stacey Hawkins Truffle Black Garlic Parmesan Seasoning*

  • pinch Stacey Hawkins Dash of Desperation Seasoning

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300° F. Spray a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray (or line with parchment paper)

  2. Remove leaves from the stalks of the kale. You can pull them off or use kitchen shears to cut off the stalk. Rip into large pieces.

  3. Place the kale in a large bowl and drizzle with ½ of the oil. Spray your hands with nonstick spray and massage the oil into the kale with your fingertips (this actually helps soften the kale and allows it to crisp even more). Sprinkle with Truffle Black Garlic Parmesan seasoning and the remainder of the oil and repeat the process.

  4. Transfer the leaves onto the backing sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with Dash of Desperation. Bake at 300° F for 7-9 minutes. Watch very closely as ovens are different and cooking time may change. As soon as you see the chips slightly brown on the edges, remove them from the oven.

  5. Place on a wire rack to cool completely before serving. Cool for at least an hour before storing in an airtight container (do not refrigerate as they will get soggy.) Enjoy!
