5 Minutes to Lean and Green Recipe Meal Prep Nirvana!

Lean and green recipes NEVER need to be complex or time consuming thanks to Stacey Hawkins! This simple recipe for char-grilled pork or chicken can be made in just 5 minutes and is full of rich, delicious and mouthwatering flavor.  The secret to the quick cooking is a hot grill and thin sliced meat.  In this case, we used pork loin cut to 1/2″ thickness.  If you use chicken, use chicken tenderloins or slice the meat in half through the middle to yield thinner portions for quick cooking.

1 pound  pork loin, sliced 1/2″ thin

1 T  Stacey Hawkins Phoenix Sunrise Seasoning (or Dash of Desperation Seasoning)



Heat outdoor grill (or indoor grill, i.e. George Foreman Style) to medium heat.  When grates are hot, add pork and cook for 2 minutes on each side ONLY (If using the indoor grill- cook 3 minutes total!)  Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Terrific hot, sliced and chilled over salad or in wraps, tacos, etc.  Refrigerate for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
